Who We Are#
We are the group.one CPO WordPress organization, part of group.one.
At group.one, we empower SMBs to win digitally with our website and SaaS products. Through an integrated platform, they have access to easy-to-use digital tools, grow-as-you-go products and local support.
The CPO WordPress organization is responsible for our WordPress products and ecosystem.
Contributing to This Handbook#
This handbook is maintained by the group.one CPO WordPress organization and hosted in a private GitLab repository.
For group.one Team Members#
Don't hesitate to:
- Add missing information or examples
- Update outdated practices
- Propose new sections or improvements
- Challenge existing recommendations with better alternatives
- Fix typos and improve clarity
If you're part of group.one, you can contribute by:
- Creating a new branch in the GitLab repository
- Making your edits to the markdown files in the
docs/directory - Opening a merge request with a clear description of your changes
- Asking for review to the section owners (see the readme.md)
For External Readers#
This handbook is currently only maintained internally.
Section owners#
This handbook is divided in main sections: Ways of working, Python, Node.js, and PHP. Each section has owners. You can find their names in the readme.md. They are team members in charge of:
- Maintaining their sections with our latest standards, and enriching them;
- Reviewing & merging contributions for other teammates for their sections;
- Ensuring the practices in the handbook are shared to the relevant teams in the organization;
- Facilitating adoption of the practices with the relevant teams.

- Docker: Containerization for consistent development and deployment
